I have a Nothing Phone 2- the software is up to date.

There is an issue-

Just did a test- whilst on a call I held the phone to my ear and was fine until outside and sunlight shone, regardless of covering the proximity sensor the screen came on.

So test this- make a call- cover your sensor with your finger to replicate holding the device to your head- then use the device in sunlight and the screen will come alive- this is how settings get activated/deactivated when it’s close to your face.

Anyone else having this issue?.

    yes, my np2 has the same problem, it’s very annoying, I hope they fix it in an update. You can’t want to impose yourself on the market and at the same time release a phone with such an elementary defect…..this is not serious. As far as I read maybe N 1 has the same problem…
