Hey nothing team,

While scrolling videos on the YouTube app, the notification bar at the top of the screen appears semi-transparent, which I find quite distracting. It takes away from the immersive viewing experience. Would it be possible to make this bar fully transparent, so it blends in better with the content and doesn’t disrupt the visual experience? I believe this small change would greatly enhance usability

I too have the same problem. Sometimes when I’m in full screen or watching any video. Same problem occurs

    #Nothing 3.0 beta update

How the status bar looks like and behave is delegated to the single foreground app shown on screen. It is not a bug, it is a design choice of the app you’re using.

The appearance of status bar completely depends on the app you use. For example, PowerAmp and Apple Music. One decided to implement it so it looks all even and one did not.

Personally, I like it. And I know the time and how much battery I have remaining. Works well on Reddit and YT. I’m nearly 50 tho, so might not be the main demo here 🙂

Rob ⚡️ changed the title to Transparent Notification Bar .
