ScreenTime on Status Bar

Hi Team,

I want screen timeout option on notification panel, to switch 15s,30s, 60Sec and more.

That help on many ways like

Sometimes we read article need 60sec
Sometimes photo or something need to appear more than normal time.
Sometimes it requires short span

In this case it required I hope it will in Nothing OS 3 in phone(1)

youre kinda confused , what is it that you need? you want to see screen time? or a timer? we already have many icons on status bar, plus all app notifications go there. theres no space for extra stuff I think so. or is it you want to keep your screen on without touching? you can change that setting in display setting I believe. but having that option right in status bar is kinda absurd. you can keep screen on for 5 min from setting or more and then once youre done, you can lock manually.

Jay I guess that’s the only reasonable option. Set a higher screen timeout and for example do a double-tap to lock on the home screen when done with reading/viewing stuff. It can be enabled in home settings

Hey mate, I’d not sure I get the value here of adding it to your quick settings. If you enable screen attention (settings>display>screen timeout) this should deliver on the value you’d experience from having such a thing in your status bar.

mafcarvalho yeah its more convenient for me rather than pressing buttons.
its too rare for me to press power button. I dont remember when I used it last time. this double tap feature is too good for me.

Jay I fully agree with you. It’s much more convenient than pressing the power button. I only use the power button when I want to reboot my phone. I also dig the three finger swipe down to take a screenshot. It’s not practical to press two buttons at the same time to perform a simple operation. 🙂
