The clicks from Nothing phone(1) #withnothing

The subject being me on my birthday. My friend wanted to buy a new phone and we got to discussing which phone is the best when I said go for the Nothing phone, as already a Nothing user I can assure that it’s a really great brand and the value it offers is amazing. Then he picked my phone up and said pose for the camera I want to test the camera on this phone, here are the results and they’re amazing, it’s my most like post on my feed.

There are minor edits on the colors in the image with Adobe Lightroom

I just love the whole brand and their crazy and quirky designs. Kudos to the whole nothing team <3

Clicked using Nothing Phone 2 with 2x zoom.

There was sunset light coming from the window so I asked my nephew to pose in front of it and voila, it turned out to be an amazing click. 😅

#NothingOctober

I took my first photo with the Nothing 2 of my mother back in the day. In Argentina mothers are celebrated on the 3rd Sunday in October.

I hadn’t put the SIM card in it yet but I could see the power of the registration and the nuances it captures.

My daughter Hayley, taken with #withNOTHING sunday the 8th (i think) :-)

I have been thinking about what photography is for a while now. It’s more relevant than ever in this age of AI. I use photography not as a reflection of reality, but as a medium to convey a story or an emotion. However, like any great pursuit of art, there is a balance you need to maintain. I felt like I lost that balance for a while, as I spent a lot of time getting stuck in the technical and post-processing phases rather than investing most of my time in capturing and pre-production stages.

Then, this photography challenge came along at just the right moment of realization. So, I decided to make a change. For this challenge, I went all-in on simplicity. I shot only in auto mode, no cropping, and no Lightroom wizardry, just capturing what my phone saw.

And you know what? I absolutely loved it. It gave me a chance to really appreciate the art of photography. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against photo editing; I think it’s a crucial part of the art. But I learned that you can’t rely solely on post-processing. You’ve got to put effort into every step to create amazing photographs.

For the “People & Portrait” theme, I wanted to tell a little story about someone lost in their thoughts. So, I named this series ‘Stuck in Black and White.’

    Thanks for inspiring Rahul

As one of the members of the community I look up to you for the amazing pictures you take and how you frame them.

And as some of you know I love close to reality shots, I end up taking a lot of dramatic pictures. And on that note I’d like to share some of my captures of people in their element, with drama and emotions.

Instead of point and shoot off late have started exploring the capabilities on expert mode, even though it takes a bit of a moment to get that shot.

Let’s celebrate people and their emotions. Here are some of my entries for the competition.

    Shot on Phone(1) No edits.

iambhuvan beautiful pictures bhuvan. I’ve always loved how you expose your photos. You’re not afraid to crush the shadows and preserve the highlights. It really gives a sense of what my eye is seeing.
