Dual SIM functionality

Sorry, I am new to the community and to Nothing. I am looking at getting the NP2a+ and I understand this has dual card dual standby. If I have this right this means you can only use one SIM at a time, but can switch between both in the setting? my questions (sorry if they have been asked and i’ve not found them).

1) when making a call are you able to easily select which SIM to call from at point of use?

2) do you receive messages from both SIMs simultaneously - is this something you can set up?

Any insights would be gratefully received. thanks

So, you’re right the phone will support dual Sims cards at the same time.

Dual SIM Dual Standby means that the two phone numbers can be in Standby Mode at the same time, but cannot perform Call or Data Access at the same time.

There are ways, in the settings of the device, to be able to switch easily between the two. Tap Settings > Network & internet > SIM card, and select your data / call demand / SMS preferences

I didnt get what you meant exactly but yes, we get sms on both sims at same time. but if you using data on sim 1 and get call on sim 2 it data will cut off until the call ends. and you get option to choose which sim you want to select for call. hope this helps.
