Hi,
Given that there’s not a native NothingOS music player… does anyone have any recommendations on a decent 3rd party (offline) music app?
I have been a fan of BlackPLayerEX, but I think it’s now no longer being developed.

I have been a fan of BlackPLayerEX, but I think it’s now no longer being developed.
I’m using Spotify as that’s what I have signed up for. I would welcome a different music player, that could incorporate subscriptions into one if it was sleek and designed well. I find the Spotify widget in particular to be quite clunky and not that responsive, even when in offline mode.
I am using Musicolet. There was a time I was looking for my best music player app, and after plenty of them I stayed with Musicolet.
Musicolet is pretty good, IMO. If you are looking for something a bit more advanced, buy Poweramp.
PowerAmp. Since my first android device.
2nd Poweramp user for years.
I’m using YouTube Music it’s good, you can also add 3rd party music files.
Use Vi Music Player it’s clean and simple
I use Pulsar+ from few years and I never find an app better than that. Prove it, there is also a free version.
There is the vanilla music player from Play Store.
You can also use YouTube music as a local music player.
GiorgioPaga using it too. It’s been great for years
Which is best 3rd party music app to use in Nothing Phone
Eon Player, Phonograph, Retro, BlackPlayer and PowerAmp, in order of personal preference .
Hoping that someday they will have their own MusicPlayer in every nothing phones…
I have been using Nothing Phone 2 for roughly 9 months. I love listening to songs and I always hear only songs which I have already downloaded and stored in my local storage.
I currently use MI music but it is not compatible, so please suggest me a good offline Music player which also compliant with Nothing Phone 2.
If you’re willing to spend a few ££ then I’d recommend poweramp. Or, alternatively VLC - it does audio, it does video, it does it all
Try retro music player https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=code.name.monkey.retromusic
Try Gramophone app or Poweramp
Gramaphone - Accord
If you want a full option thing
Namida is amazing
If you want one that’s nothing themed and open source: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cyanchill.missingcore.music
The best offline music player is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.krosbits.musicolet
sxvbn
I would argue its Dub, but seems matter of taste
Hi Everyone,
I’m on the lookout for an excellent offline music player app to enhance my listening experience on my Nothing device. The key features I’m looking for include:
High-quality audio playback (preferably supporting formats like FLAC, MP3, and WAV).
User-friendly interface that aligns with the minimalistic aesthetics of the Nothing brand.
Customizable equalizer for personalized sound.
Playlist management and offline capabilities for seamless usage without the internet.
No intrusive ads (a one-time purchase option is fine).
If anyone has suggestions for the best offline music players or apps that complement the Nothing ecosystem, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Let’s build a playlist-worthy discussion.
Thank you so much for your attention and participation.
Abiram oto music
Abiram High-quality audio playback (preferably supporting formats like FLAC, MP3, and WAV).

Poweramp. It checks all your requirements, except the 2nd point.
VLC, the only answer is VLC.
Free, Open Source, customisable, playable music in background, widget associated, plays every formats of music and videos, and very fast. Undefeated media player.
Abiram Go for neutron music player its paid but its worth it. Power amp is also an option but its a base heavy music player if that you want go for PowerAmp. But if you are an audiophile go for Neutron music player(paid) or AIMP(free) is also good option
I like Pulsar :
Pulsar Music Player - Apps on Google Play
They have a Pro version for cheap, with more features.
