I noticed that there is no pre-installed app available to edit photos. I don’t use Google photos but downloaded gallery apps. However, I noticed that when I take screenshots, the Nothing Screenshot app opens which allows you to crop, draw and write on the photo. Why not make this app available for editing regular photos?

Benutzer I have an NP(1). If I tap on the photo preview in the bottom left hand corner in the camera app (before using the gallery), I get the option to Share, Edit, use Google Lens or Delete. I can then edit my photo using Crop, Tools, Adjust Filters and Markup; and also have the option to use other apps such as Google Gallery or Google Snapseed.
Anonymous192 It probably uses Google photo anyway, I turned off the app and it asks me which gallery app to use (I have multiple gallery apps). I currently have installed Google Markup and it works fine.
