SaunavDas The Play Store might be updating apps frequently, consuming more power. Check if auto-update is enabled and, if necessary, set it to ‘Over Wi-Fi only’ or disable auto-updates temporarily.

Rob ⚡️ changed the title to Play Store - High Battery Usage .

Try to reset the phone & try again..might be there is some OS issue .

My phone 2 is also draing very fast

Especially Truecaller draining more battery

SaunavDas Check “View by system” and see if CPU and Mobile Network is also consuming insane battery. It is on my Phone (2) won’t be surprised if it does on any other Nothing Phone. Brand isn’t caring much about the older phones anymore.

SaunavDas same issue happened with me aswell Yesterday. In my case Cred App was using alot battery of my Nothing Phone 2. I forced stopped it and after some couple of hours started using Cred again and didn’t face the battery issue after that.

9 days later

It is happening again ,pls anyone give some solution

It seems that when you turn off 5g and enable 4g…. its makes a huge impact on battery usage. Battery does not drain as fast. try it out and see for yourself.

The moment I got my hands on the new 2a SE, I immediately restricted all Google apps’ background activity. In fact, I did this for any app consuming more than 2-3% of power, except for the weather app. When I’m not using my phone, I put it in Do Not Disturb mode, enable bedtime mode, and turn off Wi-Fi to completely disconnect. This helps extend my battery life, allowing me to charge my phone every third day when it reaches 5-7% battery. I charge it up to 95%, never to 100%, because I noticed that fully charging the battery causes it to drain within a single day. After watching some YouTube reviews about battery longevity, I learned that keeping the battery at 90% is better for maintaining a stable and consistent drain rate. I also avoid charging my phone overnight to prevent overcharging, which is detrimental to the battery’s lifespan. This practice is beneficial not only for the Nothing phone but for any lithium-ion battery.

SaunavDas same here… i tried all the methods mentioned over the 6 months i have had my 2a… seems 5g is a huge energy eater. for a 2024 phone, the battery is terrible compared to older phones i have. Ill use it until another phone comes out. I just hate you cant really tell if a phone is capable of the advertised runtime without buying it first. Good luck.
