Siuuuumyth You can reset them by placing the buds inside the case with the lid open and holding the button for around 10 seconds, you’ll notice the light on the case flash red 3 times.

This full situation as I read you all is a very frustrating one, Ive got mi Xiaomi EarBuds for about 2-3 years now, full use EVERY DAY never than less 5h battery, I thought it was totally worth it invest in my new ear2, it was the perfect upgrade for the phone1 that im enjoying very much, but this is an absolute disaster, not even 2h battery? really?? checking out the Nothing X app after less than 10 minutes not even full use and is dropped to 80% already?!

Gonna trie to reset as some of you say, but in my opinion @changename should face this situation and give us a real solution.

And I often see the left bud drop to 70% while the right is still at 90%. I once had a difference of 40% battery between left and right. And on top the left bud often does not get a full charge. The rigjt one is at 100%, the left at 80% when I pick them up after 2 hours of charging.

As you said, an absolut disaster.

I’ve started to notice that the battery life on my pair of ear (2) has somewhat dropped recently, without tweaking any settings. I don’t know what it could be a result of, there’s been no firmware update for a while, so I can’t guess what has changed if anything at all.

I do agree that it didn’t have great battery life to begin with (with and without ANC) compared to today’s range of TWS earbuds, and I hope that this will be a major improvement when ear (3) comes around.

A month ago, I bought headphones and also encountered the issue of battery life. Reading the responses, it makes sense that they would work for less time, but not less than the manufacturer’s stated time. With ANC turned off, they work for 2.5 hours, and with it on, they last up to two hours.
And in addition to all of this, as soon as I take the headphones out of the case, one minute passes, and they are already at 90%.

Well I bought them, charged them to 100%, 5m later the right bud was already at 90%… after 1h with ANC on I have 40%.. so yeah reading the comments I see I got scammed by nothing as you guys point out the same issues.. and the bigger issue is that where I bought them once unselead there is no way to return them, even though they clearly lied by saying 4h of playback while only delivering half of it.

Same issue here, just after taking the buds out of the box , already 90% battery.

Will return to Amazon.

I just bought this product today and got abit chocked about the battery life so I had to look it up online. My right earbuds goes off after 7songs and my left is still at 90% battery. Anyone got similar problem? ANC on

for this, open the case and press the button until the red light flashes, then release the button

if the problem persists, contact the store

So I reset my earbuds at work before I went home and also made sure all firmware is up to date. This is how my right earbud handles battery after 30-40min listening to podcast on spotify. ANC ON. Low detail sound and standard EQ. It died on train but continued to listen with only left earbud just to experience it’s battery. My left earbud seems to handle the spec-battery

TobiasKjernell I don’t know if it works this way in other countries, but try reaching out to customer support and tell them about the issue. In Ukraine, they would replace such headphones under warranty because it’s a product defect. Try doing it this way.

resetting the headphones to factory settings really helped me.

I read several articles even about how bluetooth headphones work and nowhere is it described how this is possible.

I reset them to factory settings yesterday and they now work 6 hours without ANC and 5+

hours with ANC

i did reset them 10ish times, didnt work out. so i decided to change them in at vendor store for new ones. Now they do spec-time

Glad I saw this thread, was considering buying them in the Christmas sale. Hopefully the ear 3’s have better battery life as the 2’s arent good enough from all the reviews I have read. Rumour has it Nothing is launching something in January, got my fingers crossed it’s the ear 3’s.

Nothing Ear(2) left ear bud battery is draining faster, difference in battery consumption is also drastic if the right one is at 70% then the left earbud is at 10 % , it’s really annoying and can’t charge doesn’t even last for like an hour, any solution for this problem??
