Can we get widget with which we can toggle ringing/vibrate/silent ? There are few widgets like that on Google Play but they don’t work properly (when silent they toggle DnD also), and they are ugly. 🙂

Early Impressions are really great. It’s still smooth.

Two bugs I’ve noticed, one is that when you unlock with fingerprint scanner, the animation comes quite a lot after the phone opens. Second one is that links don’t open in Instagram.

      Rob ⚡️ Do we get Ring, Vibrate & Silent options in quick setting layout in 2.5 update? It will be more useful if you include them.

        I don’t have Phone(2) yet, but planning to buy.

        Multiple reviewers say that the camera performance “degraded/became inconsistent” after 2.0.2 update. Is it true? If that is the case, please fix it in the next update so at least decent (if not great) and consistent quality photos comes out of this otherwise beautiful device!

        It’s been 20 days i baught nothing phone 1 now I see there no updates , bug fixes , no development, improvements for nothing phone 1 , they are only putting updates for nothing phone 2 this is ridiculous

          Glyph Indicator for downloads would be nice, like the install process of N OS updates and normal app downloads.

            A bug I’ve encountered is when I try to open a link. When there are multiple apps to choose from I cannot tap on “always”

              VIKAS_vikicoder_ nothing phone 1 is 1 yr old. check for latest updates. as far as I know, it also has the v. 2.0.2 update already.

                Rob ⚡️ Features i would like to see in Nothing OS, going forward:

                1. Introduction of different battery icons like horizontal and circular with the ability to display battery percentage inside them. Also, only battery percentage option minus battery icon should also be there, it will save some real estate on the status bar.

                2. Inbuilt gallery app should be there with features like:

                  (a) Edit, crop, resize and share.

                  (b) Filters, Auto Enhance.

                3. Option in gestures menu to hide the bottom navigation bar when using the phone in gestures mode(will prevent screen burn-in).

                4. Ability to turn off HDR while using the camera. Also, improvement in camera is highly recommended since image quality suffers a lot beyond 2x.

                5. Improvement in post processing time after taking a selfie. At present, it takes around 2-3 seconds for processing.

                6. Introduction of “normal sounding” ringtones and notification sounds.

                7. Introduction of Dolby Atmos or an in-house equaliser is recommended to enhance the audio experience when using third party earphones. Current solution is pretty ordinary.

                8. There seems to be a problem with Instagram app when i’m using it on my Nothing Phone 2. The + sign on the Your Story option remains even after i’ve uploaded a story(didn’t face this on my previous phone which was based on Realme UI). Now I don’t know whether this is a problem with the Instagram app or it has anything to do with the Nothing OS, in either case, please take a look at it and contact the developer of Instagram if it’s a problem from their end.

                9. Clear All button should be brought to the recents screen for user’s convenience instead of keeping it at extreme left.

                10. Introduce a tile in quick settings to toggle/shift between ringing, vibrate and silent mode. Current do not disturb mode completely silences the audio when we are watching any video on any app.

                11. Bring the brightness slider below quick settings for easy access. Also keep an auto-brightness toggle besides it.

                    As a phone 1 user with the issues that were introduced as part of 2.0.2 such as battery drain and network drops especially with 5g, now hearing that open beta won’t be available till this year end it feels like there’s no value for the trust we put in for a new company that to in the too early phase of the brand with only 2 mobiles in the offering.

                    Camera has great potential..but u guys haven’t unlocked it yet..I hope you can…and the whole post camera processing is buggy
