Hey, I’ve been loving my Nothing Phone 1, but the proximity sensor is not working at all. It’s very annoying when you have to avoid mis-touch while you are on an important call. Any chance of a fix in the next update?

I have nothing Phone 2, but I do have a problem, when I am talking in a call, always different apps open due to my ear touching the screen, I guess the sensor is not working properly or any glitch is there

I am using Nothing Phone 1 , proximity sensor still not working properly after sometime many updates by nothing. I don’t know when will this issue be resolved.

I have the same problem with cmf phone 1 and this is very annoying. I would return the phone if it was still returnable. I cant believe they are not fixing this problem.

For the record, same thing happens with my Phone 2: so annoying, since it happens to turn on flashlight and/or move to the alarm settings. Even worst is the case when I have the device in my pocket and, i don’t why, the screen turns on and, due to rubbing movements within the pocket, PIN codes are randomly input, forcing me to wait some time before reactiving it.
I already reported the two issues to the Customer Support: as far as the pocket problem is concerned, they suggested me to turn on the prevention from accidental touch (in the gesture menu) but it was already on…
As far as the second issue, I was suggested to return the device to the assistance center.
So, apparently, the problem is far from beiong solved…

Similar to this, my CMF phone 1 turns the screen off when I put the phone to my ear and begin listening to a whatsapp voice note as it should. However, after a certain point, turns back on. Don’t know if it is a settings issue or proximity sensor issue? Can anyone help?
