Unusual Idle Battery Drain on Nothing Phone 2a Plus

I’ve recently purchased Nothing Phone 2a Plus and it came with the latest October update out of the box.

I’m noticing unusual idle drain of 7% in 3 hours when data/Wi-Fi is turned off, and network is set to 4g only. Battery consumption is also very high. I’m getting maximum of 5hrs of SOT. I’ve recalibrated the battery already.

App openings and closings aren’t smooth here too, my CMF phone 1 is lot smoother than this premium phone!

What’s wrong?

I am not expert but here my guesses bases on my experience on 2a

U have some app running in the background which you are unaware of
You keep your phone in a high temp location ( I get 5-4 hrs sot ) when my phone is outside

pixcel25 I’m not even taking it outside bro, I’ve S24 & Nord 4 for outside usage. I’m using on wi-fi only in my home. Uninstalled Facebook and Instagram too
