Ok, so i thought Iād add to my post an updateā¦.
!: Checking for my firmware update this morning, it worked as it should (with āNetwork Serverā error issue for me has gone), it downloaded and installed successfully now bringing the firmware version for my watch up to 11.0.0.34
The cmf Watch app is still on version 2.2.8 from the Playstore
After checking again, I havenāt been offered firmware version 11.0.0.40 and not receiving this version may be a region relevant issue, as Iām based in the UK, or it may have been withdrawn, or simply not compatible to my Nothing Phone 2 smartphone, Iāll wait and see if Iām offered it.
3: After getting the firmware update 11.0.0.34, the watch seems to be working much better and Iām getting notifications although possibly not from all apps that Iāve selected. SMS messages and Gmail emails are still a no show, Outlook emails always seem to double the notification on the watch, WhatsApp and Amazon prime app works as expected, ProtonMail emails get notified mostly but not every email comes through.
4: The weather watch app seems to be working better, with the weather condition icon showing (and āNo Dataā error gone)
5: The biometrics seem to look to be working, definitely Heartbeat and Blood Oxygen are working well, the steps counter is counting but i donāt know the accuracy.
Anyone whoās seen the Watch comments on how smart it looks, they really likes its style and screen size. and then asks where they could buy it (it would be great if it could be bought online, maybe consider Amazon uk or Very uk as outlets, rather than having to do a trip to London Soho which isnāt convenient for most).
Somethings still need urgent attention like getting GMail notifications, and the name of a phone caller displayed when their in the watch contacts list
Also, if all the notifications could show there associated mini application icon so you can tell where the notification have come from, this would be helpful.
