Hi, i am using Galaxy A53 i purchased cmf watch for few things

1. Obviously to check time and fitness

2. To know how nothing and company is because i want want to know what happenes if i switch to nothing phone in future.

And my conclusion is terrible as of now, watch pro is good in terms of build quality but it pretty bad in terms of :- software, customer care, spare parts.

Issues

1. Since day 1 the app doesn’t run on background even tho i enabled “run on background” , the app simply closes when i remove from recent apps. Fact is even dirt cheap generic brands don’t have this issue

2. Connection with watch doesn’t sync properly

3. Watch doesn’t provide anything “smart” actually

4. Music control doesn’t work everytime moreover if we pause music and and want to play and if the watch screen if off and then we turn on screen music screen is gone

5. Why music Is only available after we press button?, we frequently use that feature make it available on home screen

6. Why i have to press button to open more option just make it available by swiping from left to right on home screen

7. Why 24h format still not available on custom watch faces ?

8. Why the app need this much internet to make app work, just store essential things in phone. Because while traveling i may not have internet.

9. Where can i buy the cable if it damages

10. Full screen syncing while using app is soo annoying can’t it do in background?

Humble request Please open the watch & app code to community if you guys are unable to fix these cus there are people ready to fix it.

so i returned mine todayto amazon as the return window closes…. most anoying the step counter, AM/PM watch faces, Sync working 50% of time, double display of notifications…. positive build quality and look and feel… not sure i’ll buy CMF again…

Hi, i purchased mine last Tuesday 20th of January and cannot find a history of step count. It keeps dropping the connection now and again. I will wait another week and If it doesn’t get fixed I will return. it

This watch looks decent but that’s it. I bought it at Christmas hoping it was going to be great but have found it disappointing and today it’s totally frozen. I can’t even reset it to factory settings. Any ideas anyone?

Will the CMF Watch ever get an update adding functionality? I know it is still in its early phases, but adding native apps or a huge system overhaul would be nice. Any updates?

Vibration is seriously an issue on the watch. The vibration intensity difference between standard and strong is literally none at all, in sensation at least. While riding, never feel the vibration at all. There is just a tiny tingle in Strong mode when not involved in any physical activity. Please improve the vibration intensity. I understand the battery drain issue with that, but would compromise a bit of battery over missing notifications. I don’t want to keep looking at my watch for notifications.

Anyone on these boards that are complaining about vibration intensity, lack of watch faces, and items like that are CLUELESS! The watch barely works, but it is good looking and tells time so I guess that’s ok. Step count doesn’t work, numbers are entirely wrong if they track at all. Sleep tracking doesn’t work, readings are entirely wrong if it tracks your sleep at all. Notifications don’t work, and even if you shut off notifications they randomly appear. Disconnects from phone constantly. Workouts don’t work, or readings are entirely wrong if it tracks the workout at all. Vibration level?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? And the worst part of it is that there are a ton of comments on Nothings own boards here explaining in detail what the problems are (SINCE THE WATCH WAS RELEASED) and Nothing hasn’t done anything about it. NOTHING!

I’ve moved from Mi Band to Watch Pro just yesterday. I see big improvement in the matter of bigger screen and, I hope, better battery life. But I’m annoyed for lack of quite basic functionalities that are quite common in any other wristband or smartwatch.

Choosing style of vibration for particular things – notifications, alarm clock, phone calls. Especially, the default alarm clock vibration is quite light. I know I can change whole vibration to harder, but I’m talking about type of vibration.
Emojis in notifications from Messenger, for example. If someone send me a “Like” I just see NOTHING. Except the person’s name who wrote me…
Custom watchfaces – where I can put my own background (for ex. Couple of changing pictures) and pick what I want to see except clock, like steps, weather, pulse etc. The default watchfaces are quite good, in design, but in one I wish there to be digital clock rather than analog one, or I wish to put outside temperature instead of some percentage gauge which I don’t know what is it.
Choosing widgets on the sides – I really don’t need to see Pulse or Activity widget on the right side and I wish to choose what should be first, and what shouldn’t be there at all. Also – adding Music widget would be great.
Quick responses to calls – I can only reject or answer the call. From my phone, I often reject the call with a quick text response like “Call me later” or “I call You in a moment”.
Sync the “Do not disturb” mode between watch and phone - when I set a “do not disturb” mode on either phone or watch it not synchronise with the others device. Setting in on phone will of course not send any notifications to my watch, so somehow it works, but I wish that when I turn it on watch it should also turn it on my phone. Especially, that I’m using Nothing Phone 2…it should work in perfect synchronisation! 🙂

First couple of things that pop up into my head after first day with Watch Pro. 🙂

Also, I got some issue with weather indicators on watchface - temperature is not updating itself, until I go to the weather app on watch. It definitely should update by itself from time to time!

MaciejJachnowicz Another post discussing emojis, watchfaces, quick responses, vibration styles, etc. What a joke. NOTHING on the watch that matters works. Like workout accuracy, Like sleep accuracy, Like step count accuracy. Like the damn watch literally staying connected to the phone. No wonder NOTHING doesn’t fix anything, because listed comments like yours asking for emojis and watchfaces. You have to be kidding me.
