the major turoff moment for me not buying nothing phone is due to only charging time.I own oneplus and i expect at least 80w or 100w charging speed and that i think would be a gamechanger.

Lexycon agree, i dont want to use a phone more than 6,1″, i swithced from 14 pro to nothing 2, i like the device but still too big to me.

But nothing must do what Apple is doing, not Samsung.
i want same spec but only smaller size of the device.

As Nothing is delving into software, a “nice to have” from other Android experiences is:

example - RedMagic’s Gaming Customization UI & Macros.

To allow a better gaming experience for Nothing Users. That would definitely tempt me from IOS to Android. The only reason I don’t switch is their software support is an abysmal 2 years only.

    Further thoughts:

Samsung are partnering with Microsoft’s Xbox cloud gaming

Apple is doubling down on their hardware to allow gaming apps on their phones

Nothing - I wonder if you guys will be implementing software solutions that make indie gaming even better. Do you see a different path for mobile gaming?

Lexycon A nothing phone mini would ve amazing. Maybe also the option to change colors of the glyph lights

Battery 5000mah and pro model 6000 mah

IP rating on pro model and base model

Dear Nothing tech, if you want to rule India, you need to fix the camera..The amount you are costing is not worthy.

    Improve the Camera.

1 year back flagship processor is ok due to cost cutting.

Video sound quality is not upto the mark.

    Sound output is not good

Most important thing is the price.

Nothing phone 2 is not price worth..only software experience was good with minor glitches

    Thankyou

You know… Nothing is currently still in a phase where it can go multiple ways.

As of know, their portfolio remains unattractive. Their message is making tech fun again. While delivering us a android skin and a phone with (I’m so sorry) a ‘gimmick’.

Look, I’m into their design language. And I absolutely get why they are doing the route they are doing.

*side note, I absolutely love how you’re trying to get IMessage working on android. With now apple starting to adopt RCS. Things might finally start merging. However, wouldn’t it be better if it were a virtual machine running the back end? One that the consumer could theoretically could host them selves using their own machines, making it accessible to a multitude more possible end users.

And although, again I get their choices, I wish they would start getting more of a dbrand kind off mentality and showed an industry the value of having a complete feature set….

I mean, if they would borrow some design choice from LG and Sony..

Supporting expandable memory, having a 3.5mm headphone jack and decent dac/amp (ESS perhaps………), an IR blaster and a man can dream but, user removable backplate and battery so you could have multiple packs.

Would not only giving them a headstart at the new EU regulations, pairing the likes of Fairphone.

But that would end up giving us a tool. What these kind of consumer electronics used to be.

If it would use a chip from last year, than that’s no biggie. (as long we see a decent update policy)

But someone has to realize in the industry that practicality and functionality should come before design.

I don’t have any nothing phone but I hope oneday I will grab one. Just make sure to have these feature on your next phone 3-

    1. Display- 6.7 inch LTPO 3.0 OLED with Gorilla glass victus/Victus 2 protection and atleast 2k resoulation.
    2. Processor- Snapdragon 8 gen ⅔
    3. Memory- at least try to give 12/256gb for base model with UFS 4.0 and LPDDR5X ram.
    4. Camera- Main focus should be on camera now. Main camera should be the latest 50mp sony Lytica sensor (As oneplus 12, oppo and vivo are already gonna using this latest sensor for their main camera) with better HDR algorithm, night mode and better portrait mode. It will be better if there is an option to select portrait depth manually later like iphone 15 pro max. Ultrawide sensor is ok but hope there is a bit sensor size upgrade with better dynamic range, color tone matches with the main sensor. And the last but not least if you add a zoom lens it will be a plus point but that’s not a game changer. Zoom lens still needs more upgrade. I think smartphone is not ready for the zoom lens still. the quality still not upto the mark. Rather you can upgrade ultrawide with bettet sensor and better macro capability.
    5. Battery- at least 5000mAh
    6. Software- the way you are going is absolutely fine. You just need to hold this attitude and keep UI simple, smooth and optimized.
    7. Fingerprint- Ultrasonic will be better as it is more reliable.
    8. Design- Flat display with rounded corner and more screen to body ratio. Glyph interface should be avoided and needs back redesign. You can take inspire from huawei mate 60 and oppo find x6 pro
    9. Features-Cooling chamber, extra game feature like game mode, an action button like iphone, IP67/68 water resistance.

I know the price will be hiked but it worth the price. There will be not much option for new innovation right now. but you can focus on AI features like google pixel that attract users more and tech will be more fun, useful in this way. Best wishes.

Snapdragon 8 gen 3 processor, camera for the best video and still pictures, & 6.1 inch for fitting it in our pocket. The UI is beautiful, keep exploring and freestyle it, Itz unique. Love the back design, Win for the Nothing Phone.
