Bring alert slider to Nothing Phone 3

Maybe add a clickable option to the slider itself, so it’s like multi purpose button.

3 slide option, and click option. Also add additional option in settings as advanced options or something, where each 3 positions can take different command.

It will be like total 9 different tools in one, 9 different actions in a slider button.

I love the idea of glyphs on the 2a, and was wondering if there was the possibility of adding a tiny little e-ink display to flank the glyphs lights on the next Nothing 3.

It could help to make use of some of the best widget features on the Nothing OS like the pedometer or for notifications, or even cute pixel art.

As this feature is of a lot of use for me personally but the need of this feature is increasing day ny day, controlling acs, fans, tvs etc, it give the option for 1 in all kind of remote!!!

And it is really cool too, so what do you guys say?

Hi,

I’ve been a loyal OnePlus user from the OnePlus 5 to the 8, but recently switched to the Nothing Phone 2. I’m absolutely loving the software and overall user experience. The design of the phone is fantastic, and the Nothing ear lineup is impressive too.

I have a few suggestions for future improvements. While the display height at 6.7 inches is perfect, I feel the display width is a bit short. It would be great to see an increase in width in the next iteration. Additionally, could you consider making the phone bezel slimmer and perhaps using a curved display? Many people in India, myself included, prefer curved displays as they enhance the visual appeal and ergonomics.

For the Nothing Phone 3, I’d suggest a curved design for both the display and body if possible, instead of the current boxy one. It feels better in the hand and could make the phone slimmer and more comfortable to use. Otherwise, you could simply make the bezels slimmer for the display part.

I’ve seen the AI video showcasing how you guys are integrating AI chatbots for every user, and it’s impressive. Since Carl mentioned the Phone 3, I wanted to share these thoughts. Also, introducing ChatGPT in the ear lineup is a fantastic move.

Overall, you’re doing a fantastic job, and I’m excited to see what’s next!

Before I begin, I must say that obviously, I am nobody to dictate any of this, and I have no idea about the real challenges involved in creating a product. I am merely speaking as an “amateur enthusiast” of tech and an admirer of the Nothing brand !

For the next phone from the brand, I think it’s important to build on the foundations of the Nothing Phone (2) because it’s an incredible phone, but I believe some things can be improved to make this phone truly a flagship killer. I think it’s crucial that the phone can be dropped in water without any serious consequences with a better certification, IP68 or IP67 would be perfect! Additionally, improving the photos to compete with Google’s Pixels would be great, even though I know it’s incredibly challenging, as well as enhancing both wired and wireless charging to compete with Xiaomi phones!

Next, my biggest dream… A Nothing (Watch)! As the brand has shown the world with the CMF Watch Pro 2, Nothing knows how to design! I find the design of this smartwatch simply stunning; I fell in love with it, lmao! And for the premium segment, Nothing has shown us all that they excel at it as well! That’s why my biggest dream would be to see a Nothing smartwatch, with the premium quality that this incredible brand brings, the design and originality through the interchangeable crown of the CMF Watch Pro 2! My only request for this watch is that it shouldn’t be too large because that prevents many people like me, who have small wrists, from buying it. We should be able to pay with it using an NFC chip and respond to our messages directly from the watch, with approximately the same functionalities as smartwatches running Wear OS.

So here is my letter to Santa Claus, the products that I think can truly be flagship killers! Once again, I know very well that I am nobody to dictate this, but I’m still throwing this bottle into the sea! A big bravo to the entire Nothing and CMF team, you make incredible products, the design is the most beautiful in the tech world by far, the quality is insane, and everything else continues in this vein of premium and originality. You are extraordinary just like your amazing community, and that’s why I have the Nothing Ear (2) which are fantastic, and my next phone will definitely be a Nothing Phone !
