Kaizokunomirai if you care that much about privacy why share it with friends and family?

and all the brands you mentioned are here from years. we just got revamped Nothing OS 3.0
and since you changed 6 brands , I can see how unsatisfied you are with brands. even if nothing provides this, idk if that will satisfy you. you will say like, now my friends know this private space password too, I want now another password etc etc.

Anonymous297 talk about shit I have used multiple brands as for experience haw can you say I was unsatisfied I have used 3 realme phone 8 11 pro p1 pro and my Experiance was nice I have these phone in my family this nothing phone was purchased by my family member but they find it a more sober phone so they switched with my p1 pro not like your this and that shit so for you who cares for someone opinion who doesn’t care about privacy

In my family we don’t do like this is mine that is yours my tablet is used by everyone and my laptop is used by my brother so can I say this is mine don’t lay a finger on it if I was unsatisfied by these brands how I switch 3 gen of realme smartphone so don’t say if you don’t know

Don’t compare everyone’s family by yours

    Kaizokunomirai right,
    Personal Accounts:

    • For personal accounts (email, social media, online banking, etc.), it’s generally not recommended to share passwords with family members. Sharing personal passwords can compromise your security, especially if the person is not as cautious with their online behavior. A breach of your password could lead to identity theft, financial loss, or other negative consequences.

Anonymous297 brother.. chill, he just asked for a simple feature he used to have on his previous devices, what’s wrong with that? its his simple suggestion and option, why are you so defensive about it? are you the developer by any chance?

In this upcoming nothing os update we seriously need an option of setting a different password to our App lock. User should be able to create or set a different password to his App lock .

Merged 6 posts from Different password for app lock, and App lock must have a separate pasword..

I wanted to share some feedback regarding the application hiding feature in the Nothing CMF Phone 1.

Currently, the hidden applications can be accessed simply by swiping right, which defeats the purpose of hiding them. Without the requirement of a password or any additional security step to access these hidden applications, this feature does not truly serve as a privacy measure.

It would be highly beneficial if a password or some form of authentication is made mandatory to access hidden applications. This would ensure user privacy and enhance the functionality of the feature.

Thank you for your efforts and for continuously improving user experience.

Merged 1 post from Feedback on Application Hiding Feature in Nothing CMF Phone 1.

          Hii nothing ,

I am using nothing phone (1) since last 6 months and am fully comfortable with this device

But according to me in NOTHING OS 2.0 in the hide app feature I think that you should design it like that when the app icon is hide the app should be showed having an install option in the Google Play store

Means , The app will be working and be there in the phone but when it’s hide there should be the option of installing it again from the Play Store

A kind request to Nothing company to take a appropriate action and attention on this topic

Thank you once again Nothing company and Nothing team for making a phone like this

          Your faithful,

          Customer

To ensure your feedback gets to the correct teams at Nothing, you must share your thoughts and findings in the correct places:

Report directly on your device by visiting: Settings > System > Feedback

          Phone (2) Feedback:
For now, use the Google Form found here. (Feedback via Settings App coming soon)

Issues shared via a discussion on nothing.community are unlikely to be seen by the relevant teams in good time. Discussions can still be used to validate/confirm bugs are repeatable, but feedback should still be submitted as requested above.

A security feature like fingerprint unlock/ pattern/ pin must be added to the hidden app drawer. So that hidden apps can be protected. This feature is already available in most of the other Android Skins(OS).

There is no privacy for hide app. Anyone can see your hide app. By swiping is there any lock or password available for hide app. Folder?????

Hello, no there isn’t anything like that at this time. You can send a suggestion for this through settings>system>feedback, that’s how to reach the people that need to see this.👍

There is no option to lock the hidden folder. But you can hide the app normally and lock the app so that even if someone gets the app, they will not be able to access.

KishansinhZala Yeah having a password would be more secure. But anyway poeple are not supposed to know that you have to swipe left to access that part. so…
