Nothing Ear Case Hinge - Question

Hi, just wondered what people’s take is on the design of the hinge on these latest buds. Seen a couple of reports of the hinge coming off on the previous ear 2 case. Just hoping this new model has been improved even though it looks the same.

Really am enjoying my nothing ear and hope they last

Thanks for the replies, was thinking they would sort it if it was issue anyway but just wondered what others thought as I would hate to see them break on me..

Hey! I used to own the ear 2 and never had a problem with the hinge (used it for quite some time). Right now I am a proud owner of the ear 2024, reviews are correct, the hinge does seem te be the slightest bit sturdier compared to the previous models, but then again, I never had any problems with the ear 2.

Thanks for that it is very reassuring and I look forward to enjoying my nothing ears for quite some time as I find them to be the best I have tried round this price point by a long way

Case is great, but the lid is disappointing. It wobbles when closed and open, not very stable. It has a single short hinge on one side.
It really should’ve been a long hinge that goes from left to right. Missed opportunity there.

resis I really have to agree as I don’t understand the reason for having the hinge on the one half at all, all I can think of is they only got half the order delivered and couldn’t wait for the rest so just cut them in half?

Still a great design and love the product but that one thing is it’s only thing I could possibly find to improve on them
