we believe that Nothing should create a browser that offers a streamlined browsing experience with a focus on privacy and security.

KEY FEATURES COULD INCLUDE: Integrated ad-blocker - Tracker blocking and anti-tracking measures - Secure autofill disablement - Enhanced privacy settings - Protection against fraudulent websites - Informative privacy alerts - Robust password generator - Auto spell-check - Built-in dark web password leak prevention - Cookie management - Reliable redirection prevention - Cross-site scripting protection - Location blocker - Social media app login tracker - End-to-end encrypted password manager - No data collection - IP address hiding - No login required - Anonymous safe browsing - Private search - Advanced secure browsing

our goal is to create a safer browsing experience and a more secure internet for everyone. one crucial aspect that we believe should be prioritized is the blocking of adult content. this feature is essential for protecting younger generations from harmful material and fostering healthier habits. as a Muslim, i find it particularly important to avoid exposure to inappropriate content, and I know many others share this sentiment across various religions.

i urge everyone in this community to share this message widely and to tweet about it on X (formerly Twitter). it is vital that Nothing takes these requests seriously, as many users, including myself, are eager for the Nothing Browser to incorporate these features.

thank you 🙂

Arman Us fans need an entire suite of native apps from Nothing. Gallery is a start so thats a good thing. But again, they would need an entire team just to take care of the app section let alone software. Its all about resources. Let it grow and we might see it in the future.

      “We believe…”

It really irks me when people claim they are speaking on my behalf. Speak for yourself not me, or explain which group you are representing when using ‘we’ instead of ‘I’.

I cannot support your request because I see no reason why Nothing should spend their limited resources on a bare bone browser, when there are perfectly good privacy-respecting browsers available with ad-blockers. What’s wrong with Firefox Focus, Brave, Mull + uBlock Origin, and Tor?

Ali Fakhruddin thanks for sharing your thoughts! i totally get what you mean about needing a dedicated team for a full suite of apps. it’s exciting to see the progress with the Gallery app, and i’m hopeful that as Nothing grows, we’ll see even more amazing features and apps in the future. in the meantime, i really believe that pushing for a privacy-focused browser is super important for all of us. let’s keep the conversation going and support each other in pushing for these important features.

Rather than build something that already exists, perhaps Nothing can partner with Brave and have them re-skin and provide continued support for the app.

sean (1) i appreciate your perspective and understand where you’re coming from. i used ‘we’ to express a collective hope for a better browsing experience, but i definitely respect that everyone has their own views. you’re right that there are great privacy-focused browsers out there, and i think it’s fantastic that we have options. my intention was to highlight the potential for Nothing to create something unique that aligns with their vision. thank you.

I personally don’t see the need of Nothing browser there are variety of browsers on the play store.. I need features not apps….there are lots of alternative available on the play store… so I say a big NO to this.

It would be nice to see a suite of privacy respecting apps become the default for people across the world. If Nothing can partner with Brave and Proton that would be a good start. All Nothing branded apps and preinstalled. For me that would be a massive USP.

Nothing001 i completely understand your POV. there are definitely many great browsers available, and it’s all about finding what works best for each individual. personally, i prefer not to use third-party apps, which is why i’m hoping Nothing will create their own browser. i believe Nothing’s focus on privacy could lead to a unique offering that aligns with their brand. i appreciate your input, and it’s great to hear diverse opinions on this topic. thank you.

It will take a lot of years to bring this to life, the gallery app almost taken 3 years to approve.

I also think that is no needed this is a waste of time and people resources.

sean (1) that’s a great idea! partnering with established privacy-focused apps like Brave and Proton could definitely enhance the user experience and provide a strong value proposition. it’s important, though, that this partnership is done without collecting or sharing user’s data with anyone. having Nothing branded apps pre installed would make it easier for users to access privacy respecting tools right from the start. i love the vision of creating a suite of apps that prioritize privacy it could really set Nothing apart in the market. thank you.

If Nothing has not already had an internal discussion about partnering with Proton et al, perhaps the new Community Board Observer can raise this?

vovan-v i get that it can take time to develop new apps, and i understand your concerns about resources. i believe investing in privacy solutions is important, even if it takes a while. thank you.

Maybe a nothing skin on a already existing browser the way opera gc allows

sean (1) great idea! i hope the Community Board Observer brings it up. a partnership with Proton could really make a difference. but I also believe Nothing should focus on building its own strong brand and do things independently. thank you.
