Madhan Transparent TPU contains a small amount of blue colouring, making it appear clear. As it breaks down, the yellow colour becomes visible and the blue fades. TPU is naturally slightly yellow, so manufacturers add blue dye to counteract it. However, yellowing is inevitable due to ageing and chemical reactions caused by heat, sunlight, and certain chemicals. UV light breaks down TPU, causing yellowing in clear phone cases. It’s not dirt or oil build-up, but degradation of the case itself.
