I wished to see some inbuild games from Nothing OS in future updates but looks like Asus ROG has already stolen the Dot Games idea. here are some screenshots I’ve just found from MKBHD video. These were supposed to be Nothing Games and not Asus?!

I am so happy that Nothing is bringing up the Dot-Snake in the next update but not happy that Asus took the dot-format of the games.

      @Rex_l3zLr10aah I think its a pretty good add-on and since Nothing’s own Dot Snake is coming soon, they might just add more later.

      ArianMondal yes! we need old arcade games in NOTHING OS! because I can’t wait to make high score to beat everyone in this community! imagine weekly tournaments in widgets? haha that would be crazy.

          zygerboy also didn’t feel good hearing that Asus mobile has already made the dotted game. I wish Nothing had its own unique identity and that no other brand had stolen this dotted format. I agree with you.

            Also looking forward to the Snake Widget to arrive. Should be good fun, and eager to celebrate Rahul’s concept, brought to life by Rapid and the Nothing Team.

            Nothing has utilised the NDot font, that is true. But they didn’t design it, nor own it, in a way that is exclusive.

            The main reasoning for Asus using dots in this way, is the display on the back is so low resolution, that it can only be achieved via a Dot Matrix display. As seen here.

            No foul play involved, just an interesting application of the display they have used on the back of the device.

              Ok I love Nothing too but Nothing didn’t invent dot font, Nothing doesn’t own it too. Dot games existed since long time ago and Nothing didn’t invent it. Snake widget too…Nothing didn’t invent it. Asus didn’t copy from Nothing, they have implemented these dots show in some previous ROG phones too.

              That said I do hope Nothing uses that dot back display idea, it’s very cool and will amplify the use of glyph if integrated creatively.

              Can we get games like chess on AOD and lock screen, which is optimised with chess.com, so I can play chess while my phone is locked in my classroom and I can say this is wallpaper or AOD when my teacher see me😅

              @robin_ True! But in today’s competitive race, everything gets copied easily to outsmart the competition. I am still glad that this community listens to every single request which is far better than any other brand experience.

              @Ealesy101 I am aware of it as I was one of the few who requested the snake dot game earlier but only rahul got the credit for that idea which is fine as the game is rolling out which is my only wish and the team could bring out more like the brick smasher, N-Dot Tetris, Space Invaders, Labyrinth games all using the Dot formula. I also acknowledge that Nothing team didn’t own the dot thing. My only wish was if only Nothing could bring it out a little sooner than others, that could have become a game changer!
