Okta Verify download error on Nothing Phone (1)

Dear community,
I’m being asked by my company to use an double authentication process to log into my corporate email and different platforms. This goes through using an app called “Okta Verify”.
however, whatever I do, google play wouldn’t let me download the app with the message:
"can’t install Okta Verify

Try again and if it doesn’t work see common ways to fix the problem"

I tried many times, restart the phone, verified I have enough space available etc. nothing solves it.

I’m running Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.6.

Anybody could help me here or tell me if there’s some sort of incompatibility with Nothing OS? any sort of security/data conflict etc?

Almost seems the app is banned!
