I am a user of nothing phone (2), I perfectly understand its main feature and idea, the reason why people wear transparent cases. But I still want to suggest something.
I do not know how much it is possible to do this at this stage, and let this feature may appear in the next models of your phones. I’m talking about gestures on the off screen, the phone I used before had this feature. I don’t really like using sensors on headphones, and I think I’m not the only one. I’ll explain how it works.
For example, if you swipe your finger like this on the off screen, “>” - then the next song will turn on, if “<” - then the previous one. If you hold it like this with two fingers, - “||” then the playback stops, and when repeated, it resumes. You can also swipe your finger like this, “V” - then the flashlight will turn on. And if so, the “O” is the camera. But if necessary, I think it will be possible to change the purpose of gestures. As I said, perhaps this function will not be needed, because the phone is usually turned upside down, but maybe someone also thought about it.
That’s all I’d like to suggest, and I foresee that the screen-on-tap feature will get in the way. I don’t like this feature either, because I always accidentally tap on the screen when I hold the phone in my hands, and it’s annoying. So I turned it off, and it would be great if I could turn on the screen by double-tapping, it would be much more convenient, and would save me and other people from accidental taps on the screen.
That’s all, I hope I’ve raised an important enough topic for discussion.
