I have observed that my Nothing ear 2024’s left ear bud drains faster than the right one. Initially the difference was 10% only between the two buds. But it seems to be increasing by the daily usage. Now I see a difference of 15% after listening to music for 30 mins. After 1 hour the difference was 30%.

Anyone facing the same issue? Should I claim for replacement with this behaviour?

    I think it’s a feature. Most of wireless earbud discharges at different rate to ensure that they do not stop working at the same time, so you can charge one while the other is still running and viceversa. Maybe the left discharges too fast anyway, I don’t know.

    I’m facing the same issue with my Nothing Ear Bud (2024 edition) after the recent firmware update. Specifically, the left earbud is not charging fully when placed in the case—it stops at 80%. The right earbud, however, charges without any problem.

    Additionally, the left earbud’s battery drains extremely fast. For instance, when using it in noise cancellation mode, the charge drops significantly after just 5 minutes of use.

    This issue began immediately after the firmware update, so I suspect it might be related to a bug in the latest version. I would appreciate it if the team could look into this and provide a solution or recommend a fix.

      I have purchased the Ear 2024 yesterday and I also observed that Right ear buds drain 5% More compared to Left buds…still observing and running old firmware.. reading the battery drain complaint on community i didn’t updated to latest.

          Nothing team needs to push an urgent HOTFIX for heavy battery drain and unequal battery drain ofEar buds by latest firmware.

          Visited Nothing service centre.

          Team tested product for 15-20 Min. Issue confirmed & they replace my nothing ear with new one 👍🏻

          From switching on itself the right buds’s charge is dropping faster ( from the start it shows 95 whole left shows 100). Is it a bug or defect?
