I’ve had my Nothing 2a for about 4 months now. Initially, I had severe battery drain and I didn’t know what was the issue. The service centre people were not sure either.
But when I started using an official 33W pps charger from CMF, the problem was fixed. However, when I started using a Samsung 45W PD charger in between, the problem returned.
Looks like Nothing phones either have a hardware or software issue that causes the battery to suboptimally charge when on a non PPS charger.
