Nothing OS 3.0 | Open Beta 1 for Phone (2a) Plus

This update is null and void to people such as myself on PacmanPro-U2.6-241217-1545-EEA, I was not aware of the patch being not supported for OS 3.

I was really wanting to update to it for Security reasons as everything in my quick settings is switchable and poses a risk to if I lost my phone and then the person(s) who took it may have the ability to turn off tracking access (such as turning off wifi or SIM data).

Unfortunate that this hasn’t been addressed yet in your post, to not upgrade to the recent patch.

niran Same here I am getting the “Failed to check update due to network issues” error. My NP2+ came in today and I am unable to update. Any suggestions?

_d1_sVzn4bTc3A If your build number is newer than the ones provided in the instructions you will have to wait for the stable release and cannot participate in the Beta.

I am unable to rollback. It’s showing “update package error” did anyone face the same issue?

Open Beta is only available for versions mentionned in the first post, it’s currently not available on the latest stable update

Rob The company had said that 3.0 will be made available for 2A Plus in December 2024 but this did not happen. This will be called a very poor service. Due to the quick success, the Nothing management has forgotten that such negligence is not good. This kind of carelessness can bring you down from the sky to the ground.

Update just dropped today. Haven’t noticed any changes, maybe it’s a lil faster, but the Camera app still doesn’t work with Nothing Gallery, which is weird. Also I updated from the Beta and the update size was just 121MB. The “Update to Beta” app cannot be uninstalled now, is there any way to do it?

Great news for the users

I’m trying to create work profile but it keeps giving an error saying the device might not support it. Does anyone know how we can solve this issue because I doubt Nothing with Android 15 won’t support it. Any help appreciated here! FYI, I am using Nothing Phone 2a Plus and have updated the mobile to stable version of Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 15.
