Mohd_khalidKhan I also felt the old UI better compared to the new UI. It gives a different look to the app. Different people would have different opinion. So I would say it is better to give an option to choose the UI in the Gallery app settings.
Just a suggestion I know it is still in early stage.
I would like to suggest adding a “Folder Lock” or “Hide Folder” feature to the Nothing Gallery app. This feature would allow users to lock or hide specific folders containing private or sensitive content. By implementing password protection, fingerprint, or pattern-based security for individual folders, users would have greater control over their personal data, enhancing privacy. The ability to hide certain folders from the main view would also offer a cleaner, more organized experience for those who want to keep their gallery private without affecting the overall functionality of the app. This would significantly improve the app’s usability and security for a more personalized user experience.
khanubi me too facing the same while some still say that disabling the Google photos worked for them to make gallery app as default though I did not get it
DevendarSinghshekhawat yup by disabling the google photos make nothing gallery the default option but i use gcam as well and when i click using gcam it doesn’t open the image at all. And i wanna keep gphotos as well unless they merge gphotos backup thing in their gallery as well.
I cannot open the nothing gallery in nothing phone 2…it will close by itself after 2 second even i have try many time…it still be the same after 2 second…i dont know why my nothing gallery will close after 2 second i open it…any solution?
What exactly is the point with the Nothing Gallery? I mean, you can’t backup anything with it, you can’t edit anything with it, you can’t set a photo as your wallpaper you really can’t do anything with it except look at your pictures. Now Google photos already does that, and you can edit your photos, backup yours photos and set your photos as wallpaper and more. So why do people want a duplicate app that does about 99% less stuff?
People who are crying over gallery. Please google the meaning of early access.
Recently released nothing gallery application cannot load my photos instantly it takes time and slowly load the photos
This is observed more in specific scenarios
morning times when I plug out the phone after charging
just after the restart
After playing games
After recording videos for longer sessions
For reference I have more than 37k+ photos
But the Google gallery app (not Google photos) , works for me every time without lag

I know that nothing gallery is brand new , I request you to optimise it better

Um, so, after the latest nothing gallery beta update, whenever i want to use the cut out feature, it gives me this message. Everything was okay till a few hours ago, i used it a few hours ago but suddenly it gives me this message. I waited for around 40 minutes and still it doesn’t work
When will the Gallery be released like a proper release not an early access one. Want to use it but cannot
Yeah so far the Nothing Gallery has been a big flop at least in my case. You really can’t do anything with it, except look at the pictures and that is about it.
Please upgrade the nothing gallery app some folders are note showing on your app am some people are note satisfied for that and we want nothing dailer app
