Phone (2) Heat Discussion
Hello Community I hv been a Phone 2 User for 5 months now , but recently I have witnessed that the temperatures of my device is skyrocketing even while performing bare minimum tasks like Video streaming in YouTube. Do anybody have any solution for this problem ? It’s getting so hot that it’s becoming a difficult task to even hold my cell phone
Hi, I’ve been facing massive heating issues too, I used to love the performance of the phone on 5g but facing massive issues there too, I think sth went wrong with the last ota.
Other than the heating issue, my system files have grown from 15 GB to almost 80 GB whenever there’s an update. Additionally, I occasionally experience overheating with minimal tasks. I’ve also noticed that overheating occurs when my Wi-Fi or mobile data is turned on.
RaunakDutt I intend on resetting my phone today to see if that helps.. because even on 4g exclusively in facing massive heating issues now
Yesterday i had to charge 3 times my NP2 because it was loosing charge by itself and getting unnecessarily hot. Dear Nothing, please this is some serious level issue you must fix.
Also today i face charging issue , in 1 hour only 40%percent charge.
Please how we will solve this issue can exchange or repair

Today, my Nothing Phone 2 overheated while it was idle in my bag during travel. When I got home, it was so hot that I couldn’t touch it, and it was stuck in restart mode. I checked the battery usage for the period from 14:00 to 16:00, but I couldn’t see the details for that time. However, the graph shows a significant peak during that period. Does anyone have any ideas about what might have caused this?
JerryJoseph Hello mate, I’d suggest looking at battery usage and see if (a) any apps is draining your battery (b) any systems are draining your battery. I’d also suggest giving your phone a simple reboot. And, then if you experience this again, I’d suggest backing the device up & resetting the device.
If you continue to face issues, please submit a ticket with the Nothing Support team, this will allow them to help you in troubleshooting. You can do this by going to settings>system>feedback. Be sure to provide as much information as possible and, any troubleshooting steps you’ve taken.

Not that hot to be honest, in certain situation it’s possible but on my 2a I don’t have this issues
