Situation: The nothing support centres (majority third party) ask for the Phone PiN/Password when leaving the phone behind for work. They say they need this to run tests and ensure proper working.
Issue: our phones like our homes and bank accounts have lots of personal information and increasingly store private and important information. To trust a nothing third party staff not to fidget while having secure access to the phone is not something all users will be comfortable with. Personal information has all you can see access.
Proposed Solution: The support teams should be able to access the testing parts of the system. Alternatively, like apple they should be able to launch phone into a specific support team mode.
Protecting customer data and privacy should be at the heart of the service experience.
