Guys, I noticed today, that the Battery charged till 100% in spite of the charging level being set at 90% using the Custom Charging mode.

I am not sure why that happened.

Will the setting not work, if the phone is switched off and then it switches on while we connect it to the charger (CMF GaN) ?

Please share your views on this. Will the battery life be hampered, if the above keeps on happening regularly ?

I request Nothing team also to shed some light on this matter.

I don’t think that will work when the device is shut down.

    Go with this rule:
Never let the battery go below 20% and don’t charge above 80%, unless maybe you are going on a trip or something.

Notme When you connect the charger, the Phone automatically switches ON and then the charging process starts. Therefore, the Setting should work rather than it not recognizing the charging level selected. There is definitely a glitch in the phone’s software.

hrry changed the title to Battery Health - Custom Charging Mode .

NotP2a hey mate, I’d suggest directing this to Settings > System > Feedback. Assuming you’re on the beta this is the kind of stuff the team will want to capture 🙂

hrry No, I am not on Beta. This is Nothing OS 2.6 and the latest Build number ending with 2253-IND.
