Experiencing the same problem here. In some applications, like WhatsApp, notifications come quite fast. However, in other applications like Chess.com, only when I unlock the phone (Nothing Phone 3a in my case) that all notifications show up.
Delayed notifications when device is locked
From what we can see, the problem is in all later versions. From what I can see, the problem is present in all versions after 2.6. There’s no solution yet, and it’s been over two months.
In addition, I am not sure if I properly understood the functionality, but I assume that once you flip the phone, even if you have not silenced it, the mobile should only display glyph notifications for those configured as Essential, and nothing else (like in silent mode). So, there should be no vibration and no sounds. However, for me, it also keeps vibrating or emitting sounds after flipping, even after the “flip to glyph activated” lights are shown even though this does not happen consistently.
Agree with this. After last update, my mobile data is really bad. It’s going off or unable to connect quite often, and it’s becoming really annoying. Especially since it’s happening when I need it most considering my work.
Any news on resolving this issue perhaps?
Has anyone found a way to receive all instant notifications?
I have the same Issues. Its the first Time i had trouble with my Phone and i hope a Future Update will fix it.

Well, I don’t receive notifications from most apps when my phone is locked. As soon as I unlock my phone, I get everything at once.
Flanagan well brother you can try turning off adaptive battery and the next thing that you can do is to go to the app info and disable battery optimisation of these app in which you are receiving late notification I have done that and that resolved my issue pretty much

I understand there are more people with this problem, right? And there’s no solution.
