Delayed notifications when device is locked

HansilJoshi · 2024-12-18T20:41:24+00:00

Just updated to nothing OS 3.0 stable version today and since then I have been noticing that my mobile data is automatically going off (it’s turned on only) when the phone is idle for a while and this results in notification delay and is frustrating

AliAzeem

Flanagan Still nothing. I just reached out to support for a refund request. This doesn’t cut it for me

Flanagan

AliAzeem Well, you’ll say that they answer you.

I have the same Issues. Its the first Time i had trouble with my Phone and i hope a Future Update will fix it.

KarimSaid

Do somebody know when there is a Update for the Notification Issue?

Flanagan

KarimSaid I lost all hope because I’ve been waiting for three months and with an update in between everything remains the same.

Flanagan

Has anyone discovered a solution to receive notifications with a locked phone?

SauravGhosh_YSyIGtH5QM what’s the issue can you explain me plz

rebbavarapurakesh

what notification issue? im not facing any

Flanagan

Well, I don’t receive notifications from most apps when my phone is locked. As soon as I unlock my phone, I get everything at once.

AteebJawaid

Flanagan well brother you can try turning off adaptive battery and the next thing that you can do is to go to the app info and disable battery optimisation of these app in which you are receiving late notification I have done that and that resolved my issue pretty much

Flanagan

AteebJawaid I’ve already tried those two options, but I’m still the same. 😢. I’ve been like this for several months, since updating to version 3.0

SauravGhosh_YSyIGtH5QM

rebbavarapurakesh of course you don’t. Those who don’t have any job will not understand what’s being discussed here.

Flanagan

I understand there are more people with this problem, right? And there’s no solution.

mikuru

HansilJoshi Same issue here, but can someone confirm if this happens because of the Adaptive Battery and Sleep Standby Optimization being enabled?

Flanagan

mikuru I have both options disabled and I don’t receive notifications with my phone locked.

Hi, has anyone commented on this? Rob Some arrive for me, but many only when the screen is unlocked. I rely on certain notifications. I have to be able to rely on them.We need feedback and help please.

Edith: This is an Android problem that many Samsung and Pixel users have. It’s really annoying that Google can’t fix it properly.
