Hi to all those interested in the topic.
After almost a month of debugging using my phone logs as an example, I got the following response from the nothing technical team 👇
After carefully reviewing the information you provided, we have forwarded it to our R&D Team for a thorough analysis. They have identified that the issue stems from a bug within the core of the Google system, which can occur sporadically on mobile devices like yours.
Please rest assured that we have escalated this matter with the highest priority to the Google developers, urging them to resolve it as quickly as possible. We are closely monitoring the progress and are optimistic that a fix will be implemented very soon.
Also to me it doesn’t look good, it may be fixed with the new android 16, or it may not be fixed at all. If these are sporadic reports, it looks like I was unlucky to get just such a copy 😐
What’s more there are problems with returning the phone and getting compensation.
They write that they can’t fix it, i.e. the product purchased is not of full value, and at the same time they warn that they don’t do replacements and can only repair it, but as they wrote they can’t 😐
I wrote to the local dealer from whom I bought the phone in a pre-sale and they suggested that I should send the phone back to them for service. The phone is supposed to come with everything, no factory system restore.
So I am supposed to entrust them with my personal, sensitive data and trust that it will be safe!
Honestly, I don’t have the strength for it anymore. I am very disappointed and disillusioned with Nothing’s attitude AND their approach to the customer. I have spent a lot of private time testing and providing them with debugging material, and I have been left with nothing. That is, with a non-working phone and no compensation whatsoever.
Maybe that’s where the name Nothing comes from non-working phone and no compensation whatsoever 🤬
If it works then be happy, but if it stops then I do not recommend dealing with the service.
Maybe all of you who write here should also write to the technical support and accuse them of the same submissions. Then maybe they will get to work and start taking us seriously instead of advertising yet another phone model that has the same software bug.
