Hello, do you know when the new NOTHING update will be released? Also, I have a suggestion that might sound a bit odd. At night, I sometimes struggle to find my phone in the dark. What if we could call it by saying ‘Nothing,’ and it would light up its LEDs to reveal its location? Wouldn’t that be a cool feature?

After using 3.0 for a while, I wouldn’t call it stable. 2.6 was better. You should take your time while releasing new version of OS and iron it out. Also, a lot of features that were expected are not here, I bet they will be in future update but still doesn’t feel good. Also, there is a lot more you could do with glyphs, from when I bought the phone until now, they have same functions. So much potential there. To sum it up, it just feel like everything is beta. Not sure I’ll stick around for too much longer.
Everyone already has beta 3.0. Why are you so eager to get the stable 3.0? It’s no different from the beta. Let them refine the version properly.

@Rob I’m disappointed that phone(1) has to wait longer. As the first brand customer base, they should be treated with care. The budget models are getting it earlier than the premium models.
When we gonna get the stable update of Nothing OS 3.0 for cmf phone 1?
Rob Upon looking at the Nothing store page, it states that the Nothing Phone 2a runs on Nothing OS 3.0, but I’ve yet to receive the update. So I am wondering if the rollout has been completed or is it still ongoing for 2a users?
Rob when is the stable release coming to Phone 1? It was scheduled in the beginning of 2025, but there is no update 
App Drawer
Is it possible to add a background photo selection as an option in OS 3.0 because as we compare with premium device the dark mode which they are top notch for example consider s24 with phone 1 both have amoled screen but as we look closer the s24 has more contrast and it is exact black and look gorgeous in App tray.
If possible please make it more dark for app drawer or just display dim wallpaper as your app tray background

Hello everyone, i’m new here and dont if this is The right place to give OS 3.0 a review but here it goes.
- Apps icons in folder sometimes go blank, and i have close and open the folder again to have them visible
- Lock screen photo widget does not let you select which picture or folder you want to show… only available on normal screen.
- When using whatsapp vocal note you have to longpress and swipe up to activate it, but it activates gemini so i changed the settings, but it still brings you back to the screen sélection view… a real pain. It’s a real finger gymnastix to activate a vocal note on whatsapp now.
- Major pain for me, bluetooth does not automatically connect to every apparel. Like for instance in my car i always have to put the password and associate, every single time! … it does not stay connected or reconnect at all. Also i noticed in the bluetooth section you çan choose to say what device is what, i try to set for instance my sennheisers to headphones, and when i go back in, it is back to “define what device this is”… might be the problem.
Other than that i find the new OS way better than 2.6, it is more intuitive but still has some problems.

I think the company should add some transition effects and customization to the Nothing launcher of Nothing smartphone because there are many other launchers being made by smartphone companies like Samsung’s launcher, Xiaomi Launcher, Honor Magic OS launcher
Note - All these companies’ launchers offer a lot of smoothness and customizations, what do you think about it?
