Hi Nothing Team,

On behalf of all the Nothing Phone 2 users, I wanted to bring this to your attention, with the release of the new stable update for nothing phone 2, several of The uses including myself for facing few issues with the new update

  1. Quick Settings panels Lags/Jitters while scrolling up & down.
  2. Pop-up view has inconsistent theming, even in the dark mode it shows the light colours over the buttons, please refer image.
  3. App archive feature is not available to the users until they format the device.
  4. QS Settings has inconsistent colours for flashlight and music visualization and the fonts size doesn’t match with UI for size.

I know this should have been reported through the feedback section in the settings, but there is no use in reporting over there because what we get is just the robotic responses which is same for all the bugs we face.

I know nothing team is very well capable and very much interested in always hearing the users feedback, I hope the address the issues mentioned here.

Nothing001 So there were fewer bugs in the beta than in the official version? That’s good to know. I still have the beta on the NP2a Plus.

      Hi All, I updated to my Phone 2 last night and immediately my Sony Bluetooth Headphones stopped working. Also when they were connected, any video immediately becomes choppy and stuttering (no audio) like there is a CPU bottleneck. When the headphones are turned off the phone returns to norma.

      Also, my nothing ear buds work absolutely fine. So I’m assuming that they were tested in the new OS.

      Any ideas on how this may be resolved?

        Nothing001 this is important also to me because I always use vowifi in airplane mode to save battery, if this is not yet resolved ive rather enjoy 2.6

              @Rob ⚡️ had my Nothing 2A upgraded to 3.0. Bit disappointed to see some key features in Android 15 are missing in Nothing OS.

              But Why..?

              Save app pairs (split screen) 😭

              New volume panel with change of output device

              Bluetooth “Automatic turn on Tomorrow”

              Phone as USB Webcam 😭

              Circle to Search 😭

              Nothing_Technik It seems so and the stable version lacks so many important features

              Neozoby yeah stay with 2.6 for now there are a lot of unfixed issues with 3.0 i regret updating to the stable version I wish I did stick with the beta

                  Rob ⚡️ anyone else not getting all the features from the update? I updated the OS successfully (I even got the NOS 3.0 animations from reboot, and on settings it verifies I’m on Android 15); however, I do not have the native Gallery App, nor the new fonts on typography settings, nor the countdown widgets. Is this a normal thing, a bug or will these features simply not get to Phone 2a or my region despite having NOS 3.0?

                      Facing issues in OS 3.0 in my NP2

                      Faced the issue of lag during video calling either from Whatsapp or Meet, actually the phone refresh rate is going down to 60Hz when we start a video call which was not there in the 2.6 version. Also some other applications are also going to 60Hz which were running smooth on 120Hz in 2.6 (Dynamic refresh rate was enabled in both the cases of 2.6 and 3.0 OS running)

                      In screen recorder add show toches feature because Without showing any touch, the other person is not able to understand how to doing things

                      First of all nothing os 3.0 has been the most hyped update among all nothing users and it’s stable version is finally here for nothing phone 2 and 2a and there are many things which many users might have expected.

                      1. Quick setting : There is a little colour differ in quick setting like the flash light toggle turns red when turned on but at the same time other quick setting tiles colours is white.
                      2. Haptics : With nothing os 3.0, no doubt that nothing os 3.0 feels way smoother but there are many places where it feels like haptics are lacking like in brightness toggle and volume toggle.

                      Also there are some minor things which are missing but we hope they fix these things in next update.

                        Uh, my phone 2 home screen freezes a day after the update. I lock the phone and open it again then it resumes normal operation. Anybody faced this issue on OS 3.0?

                        Edit: and it just happened again, I was listening to youtube music when the screen freezes. It always happened on lock screen, when you tap the notification or music tab, the phone ask you to input your fingerprint. When I unlock my phone, the youtube music screen just freezes and I have no choice but to lock the phone using the lock button.

                        So much for being stable 3.0 OS

                        Rob ⚡️ I’m glad that I recieved update fast, but same time many issues present on phone 2a went unaddressed. There’s issue with display in phone 2a, many users have complained getting greyish/green pixel patches around screen while watching videos, especially when the scenes are dark.

                        The charge has been pretty slow after the update, before the update my phone 2a used to charge in or about an hour , but today after update, it took more than 2 hours , and still hasn’t completely charged.

                        Please look into these ..
