Dai_bpOwnllKgf frustrated with the delayed OS update for the Japanese version of the Nothing Phone (2a). One of the main reasons I chose Nothing was the promise of better support compared to other Japanese phones, which often get sidelined because Japan is treated as a separate category. I’ve been burned before. I switched to a google Pixel hoping for better support (which they are good at), only to be let down by poor hardware and a design I couldn’t stand. Nothing’s design is stunning, but now I’m starting to worry: will Japanese users always be stuck waiting for software updates just because it’s the ‘Japanese’ version? It’s disappointing and feels like history repeating itself.
Stereophobia Dai_bpOwnllKgf if it helps, nothing, a British company, seems to have forgotten about releasing it in the UK too. The white reason I picked up my phone was because I expected better support from a company based in my own country. More fool us I guess.

DuckRogers dylanknowsnothing I am under the impression that due to the feedback for the stable update being generally negative, they have halted the rollout to fix bugs

When there’s some dark wallpaper (anything dark) on screen then it’s pixels are dead from that area of the screen. (Huge problem) Widget sharing, or reaction are not there also nee widgets option are not there in NOS 3.0 I want New wallpapers ; (
