I have recently discovered on ny NP2, i think its not a placebo, but, it feels like the battery lasts longer than before, i’ve compared to when i played games. Before it would drain quite fast, but now, it feels significantly better, i dont have to charge as much. I dont know if im imagining it or not, it feels great tho

Do we need to uninstall the NOS 3 beta to get the stable update?

Rob Still Waiting for Nothing Phone 1 final release in 2025

KalpeshSalunkhe Not good, just average with the update to OS 3.0. Here’s why:

1. Layout is inconsistent. If I choose 5 rows, everything should follow that, including AOD and quick settings.

2. Every brand is working on blur or transparent quick settings, app drawers, widgets, and colorful AOD lock screens, but there’s nothing that follows a black and white theme like a 70s movie.

3. Inconsistent color templates. There should be an option for users to choose whether they want a color template or not. If they select a color template, it should apply everywhere, including AOD, lock screen, and quick settings.

4. No pinch white and black background.

5. No password protection when someone switches off your phone.

6. Significant improvements are needed in the camera section.

7. Either implement dot matrix throughout the UI or remove it completely.

However, I do appreciate the software team working hard to improve the UI and software experience, and I thank them for their efforts. But there’s still a lot of improvement needed.
