Hi, using a 2a, on O2. Any idea how long I’ll have to wait for Android 15 and OS3? I’m new to Nothing phones so thanks for being patient with my question 😃

        Nothing OS 3.0 overall disappointed me

        Most of the things are ok but below things were not required at all,

        1. The quick setting of volume when you change volume, no one wants silent after the general sound, it was correct the normal way, General> Vibrate > Silent. Please revert this.
        2. Home icon Style, it was great before like some apps are original and other gets monochrome. Right now it just weirdly monochromes the applications(COC, BGMI)
        3. Still no improvement in game mode, Nothing could add volume and brightness slider in game dashboard, 120 FPS support for BGMI is also not there yet.

        Good Things:

        1. Gallery Application is a good addition.
        2. Circle to search is good addition.
        3. Notification quick tiles are nicely improved.
        4. Pop-up View Resizing

        Suggestions to be added in next update:

        1. Better game mode with volume and brightness slider, also app launcher in pop up view.
        2. Custom Live wallpapers should be allowed to put on lock and home screen, samsung and apple are doing it for long time.
        3. 120 FPS support for BGMI, same is available for clash of clans, please add for BGMI also.
        4. Please add multiple application volume slider e.g. if i am using coc and listening songs i should be able to mute sound of only clash of clans.

          KalpeshSalunkhe Not good, just average with the update to OS 3.0. Here’s why:

          1. Layout is inconsistent. If I choose 5 rows, everything should follow that, including AOD and quick settings.

          2. Every brand is working on blur or transparent quick settings, app drawers, widgets, and colorful AOD lock screens, but there’s nothing that follows a black and white theme like a 70s movie.

          3. Inconsistent color templates. There should be an option for users to choose whether they want a color template or not. If they select a color template, it should apply everywhere, including AOD, lock screen, and quick settings.

          4. No pinch white and black background.

          5. No password protection when someone switches off your phone.

          6. Significant improvements are needed in the camera section.

          7. Either implement dot matrix throughout the UI or remove it completely.

          However, I do appreciate the software team working hard to improve the UI and software experience, and I thank them for their efforts. But there’s still a lot of improvement needed.

                ShimChacko you will be waiting a while longer as they haven’t finished rollout for Nothing Phone 2/2a yet

                      Hello,

                      When my car pair with my phone (Nothing Phone (2)), the most of the time, I cannot manage the audio with the car, for example, I cannot clic to the next button and the song’s name is not showing in the screen of the car.

                      This was not happening before the Nothing’s OS 3.0 update.

                      Is it happening to any of you guys?
