First of all, I like the new OS look and there might be some issues(maybe a lot of issues), but it is kind of okay. Now on to the issue, after updating to OS 3.0, I noticed that on pulling down to open Notification Shade and Control Centre, there’s a slight frame rate drop and somewhat of a lag. It drops the first time(everytime you open the Notification Shade) you perform any function, be it expanding a notification to read the second line or pulling further down to see all the control or even while scrolling through all the notification and if you get a lot of notifications(which I do), you can observe the frame rate drop very easily. After you perform the function once, the lag and frame drop goes away, but it seems as if the phone is taking a second to think what it has to do on the first go and makes the second try a buttery smooth 120 fps.
I can’t include a screen recording to show the glitch this time for privacy reasons(trust me, you don’t want to see my notifications) but I think anyone would be able to replicate the issue with the details I’ve provided.
I hope this is fixed in the next update.
I’m using Phone(2), 12/256 GB
Thanks
Edit- I also observed the same jittery animation while scrolling through the App Drawer(Default). Maybe I shouldn’t have updated to the ‘stable’ 3.0 because it sucks with animations.
I hope they fix this with an update as soon as possible as this is very irritating.
