Indian summer heat can make your phone toasty! Don’t worry, temperatures around 37°-40°C are typical during peak season. To keep your phone cool, try charging it at night or early morning when it’s cooler. Need more battery life? Topping up to 100% is fine - you’ll easily get 10+ hours for daily tasks. This way, your phone stays happy and functional even in the hot weather!
I read this on internet when I dug about heating issue.
thalapathy phone heat max 43° on morning while charging.
Yogijs_404 use regular 10W -20W charger instead of High wattage chargers. At max 33W. 43°C while charging is concerning one.
I actually bought my Nothing Phone 2 a few days back and all I do is scroll instagram and watch videos, the phone heats up doing this simple tasks. I don’t use a cover and I live in a relatively warm place. But this shouldn’t be the case coz one of my friends use Iphone 14 pro, his phone doesn’t heat up scrolling instagram..

Recently purchased phone 2 12gb 256 gb varient.
Device is getting hot suddenly and tried to kill all the apps from the background.
Also I could see few apps are running randomly running in the background which causes the heating issue…if I uninstall those apps device is not getting heat. But every 1 r 2hrs some of the installed apps running in the background with out opening app
I guess this a bug in 2.5.6 @changename team has to fix this issue
Is anyone else facing this issue
Phone 2 heating even in normal usage….battery is getting consumed way more….
And while gaming bgmi or pubg…phone is like hot plate

After the 2.6 update of nothing my NP2 is overheating when it’s just idle. And doesn’t cools down as well, i tried cooling down it in my refrigerator but after taking out from it started to overheat again. Also battery dropping drastically because of this issue. Yesterday i had to charge 3 times my NP2 because it was loosing charge by itself and getting unnecessarily hot. Dear Nothing, please this is some serious level issue you must fix.
Why my nothing phone 2 overheat and reduces battery rapidly
