mackie_cmf why would they give a flagship feature to a budget phones, if they give it nothing 2a have zero value, cause CMF have better display, better multi core performance, better network, and nearly similar camera, why would anyone buy nothing 2a, if you can get same things at cheap price.

KaranRathod_Hg7SkEY00V 2(a) sales way more than any other nothing phone. Be patient. Software features would be the exact same, but might come late - that is confirmed by Carl Pei himself.
It is not even that of a big or a ‘flagship’ feature. It is basically google lens with a better animation, so let’s just wait, as even i am a CMF User. And as for the AOD - I think it also depends on hardware even though CMF has an amoled screen, they can just ‘enable’ AOD. So yeah, all features will come, but the thing is just it will come first for the most sold models.

Alexshax I agree. All that garbage is extra cost. At £169 the 8/128 is great value. I would’ve paid £2-30 for OIS but that wasn’t an option sadly. NFC is too slow anyways compared to bankcard tap (especially noticeable on the London underground at busy stations … all phones via NFC seem to be slower and less accurate than bankcard tap) and who doesn’t keep a bankcard in the back of their translucent phone case anyway?

I also expect support to be slower as well as there’s almost not profit in the CMF1 and the other NOTHING users have subsidised the cost 😃

EashaanTaneja My understanding is that a separate update will need to be pushed for Phone (1) and CMF Phone 1 - this should come in the near future

Rob ⚡️ jan ending, yet circle to search feature is missing on phone 1, so we can expect same things to happen to nothing 2a, once 3a is launched nothing will ignore 2a just like phone 1, and give new features to only new phones.

I own a Pixel 9 and Nothing 2. I switch back and forth between the two. I always forget Nothing did not have the Circle to search so I never used it….UNTIL YALL ADDED IT!! Thank you so much, I can use my Nothing phone soooo much more! Heck, might even sell my Pixel 9. Thank you again
