Just got my hands on your fantastic Android mobile, and it’s truly impressive! But there’s a hiccup – the camera. While everything else shines, the camera processing takes time, lacks details even after processing, and doesn’t quite meet the mark. Major disappointment in an otherwise stellar device. Hoping for a camera boost in future
Nothing Phone (1) Camera feedback
- (Edited)
In camera, portrait mode - quality of the image is bad compared to previous update….? Plz…! Get some improvements in camera application….
Camera did not meant the expectations…
Really the camera quality is so bad that I don’t even want to capture a photo. I wasn’t expect this from Nothing..
Initially Phone (1)'s camera was one of the best in the price range. The processing was great and the colors came out good. Nothing has changed the processing technique after recent updates, which has altered the quality of the photos for bad. Does anyone else think that the camera output was better before?
PranavJayaraman They forget about phone 2 still in average not good.
PranavJayaraman I raised this point stating that Carl Pei can release a dedicated camera update like 2.5.4 as he did for 2a. This update offered a huge improvement over the camera experience. I concluded my comment by saying that you can relase such an update only if YOU MEAN IT. Phone 1 is surely due for a camera update post 2.5.3 update. The pics are blurry and a lot worse.
Looks pretty cool ngl

Am i the only one who thinks that since last Update Nothing 1 camera have got worse.
Yes phone 1 needs a significant update, the camera quality is really horrible with Android 14.
What’s worse is that the newest update of today, 2.5.5 for Phone 1 offers no update for camera. Only unnecessary changes like chat gpt and widgets.
This can’t be any truer. The camera was good in the android 12 and 13 era. The updates have really messed it up.
The glare effect of light is a genuine problem in 1.

Joseph_ixtone even worse is that these people are messing up things further by launching new devices just to capture new customers.
Then they intend to rollout fixes in the name of updates. This arrogance is on another level.
