Nothing phone 2 display issue

Display didn’t work

This happened to me twice in a month and started working after a restart ( I used power and volume buttons to restart the phone )

gundlarishi This happened today morning in my device 😭 I’m scared. My alarm went off but I couldn’t switch it off. So had to hard restart using power button. This OS 3.0 is buggy as it can be.

Odd, never had something like this happen. The good new is, it seems software related, otherwise it the touchscreen still wouldn’t work after a restart.

I guess your best bets are contacting Nothing support or maybe prior do a complete factory reset of the phone and set it up completely from scratch.

It happens me a lot of times, even fingerprint scanner don’t work at that time, lifting up phone and double table also don’t work, Just power button turns on the screen, then it functions correctly…

It’s happened last year for me once……need to perform force shutdown…by pressing power power button for 20 sec or combination of power and volume button for 20 sec …then power on back

It happened to me twice in 15 months of usage.
Force restarting does the trick.

I am also facing the same issue after updating to OS 3.0 stable; the touch response is not working during calls.

As far the touch responsiveness. I think they have fixed it with this update. Let’s hope this fixed the whole touch responsiveness
