Use Google Photos or Google Gallery and Google File Manager. For now these apps are quite good enough.

I vote no too. Nothing is about stock experience. It’s Nothing. Clean and no bloatware. Nothing still new, forcing them to do more apps will then increase cost and they need more people to maintain those apps too. So it’s unnecessary. First people ask for app, then people ask for features and more features. Now, how about let them focus on the OS and camera optimization?
You don’t like Google files and Google photos and Google Gallery? Plenty plenty plenty of choice on the app store.
For file manager, try “Fossify File Manager”.. open source, no ads. clutter free..

Well, I like the one-for-all experience on iOS, which is why I would vote for nothing standard apps as every other brand offers. But I agree with the voices, that there are probably other things to do by Nothing than developing apps. It’s easy to get bogged down. If I wanted to hype the google apps, I would rather use a pixel though. Personal preference. t
If anyone wants a great gallery use Aves Gallery and set the refresh rate to HIGH. It’ll be the smoothest experience.

There are hundreds of gallery and file manager apps out there both free and paid.
I don’t see how another one improves my daily experience.

I bought my first nothing phone 1 since April 2023 and currently still using it. I found out that there is no gallery in my phone which if I need to access to my photos and videos, I have to access it thru files.
However, the photos and videos are only saved for like a month or maybe two.
Does anyone face the same thing as I did?

Hi,
The phone 2 is great but the needs to with nothing dialers, nothing gallery. Because that makes the use love the ui and the experience of nothing os and the interface. With Google Dialer it looks worst and give me a worst feeling like other phones. Nothing makes things unique so make this a unique way.

Hello Nothing team, I am a big fan of nothing just for it’s awesome user experience & team community.
But there are some things nothing should do. Just like some apps nothing must should release.
- Nothing Dialer & Contacts(must needed)
- Nothing Messages
- Nothing File manager (must needed,google file is boring)
- Nothing clock
- Nothing notes
- For our betterment please make an app “Nothing Community” thus we don’t need to search in google for nothing community
- Nothing mode
just like OnePlus Zen mode . It is important features for ours who are students. Please, nothing team listen our basic needs

Just to answer to your points :
- Nothing dialer is very requested, but will not bring anything more than the google dialer offers
- Nothing Messages was a way to disrupt the industry and make a point about RCS, maybe the app will make a come back, but not for now that’s for sure
- Nothing clock : would love to see some design that we saw on this nothing.community
- Nothing notes : notes without synchronization is just not good… so no, stay on Keep
- Nothing community doesn’t make any sense, the website is already perfectly optimized ofr mobile. Just make a progressive webapp of it and you’ll be fine
