Can anyone please tell me If we are going to get Nothing Dialer and Gallery Apps , If we are going to have in near future when can we expect ?

my last device was oneplus 11R and I’m really getting frustrated of google dialer and Gooler Gallery .

Hello Nothing team, I am a big fan of nothing just for it’s awesome user experience & team community.

But there are some things nothing should do. Just like some apps nothing must should release.

  • Nothing Dialer & Contacts(must needed)
  • Nothing Messages
  • Nothing File manager (must needed,google file is boring)
  • Nothing clock
  • Nothing notes
  • For our betterment please make an app “Nothing Community” thus we don’t need to search in google for nothing community
  • Nothing mode🫠 just like OnePlus Zen mode . It is important features for ours who are students. Please, nothing team listen our basic needs🙏

    Just to answer to your points :

    • Nothing dialer is very requested, but will not bring anything more than the google dialer offers 🤷
    • Nothing Messages was a way to disrupt the industry and make a point about RCS, maybe the app will make a come back, but not for now that’s for sure
    • Nothing clock : would love to see some design that we saw on this nothing.community
    • Nothing notes : notes without synchronization is just not good… so no, stay on Keep
    • Nothing community doesn’t make any sense, the website is already perfectly optimized ofr mobile. Just make a progressive webapp of it and you’ll be fine 😉

        Remi F Google Dialer is just boring because We want nothing style dialer. So that, it can look elegant and stylish.

        Notes app is not more important but students need this app very much as oneplus has!

            Nothing photos is a must right now we have an app for photos in which we have to buy Google one to access all the features. What kind of a phone company sells a phone in which if you want to edit your pictures you need to buy a subscription. Wtf is this

            I would really love to see a Nothing Music app, that makes use of thy glyphs, to show time remaining for example.

              Actually I am not too sure but, Nothing is been working for “Nothing dailer” and expected launch for it is late 2024

              Can nothing team confirm it?

              Also, taking about “Nothing Clock” and “Nothing File Manager” should be of Google as it is good but, Nothing should design apps differently according to their style

              I suggest @rob or any other member to just make a another section for those who would give them a design suggestions for the apps like nothing dailer or etc

                  Disagree. Please don’t ruin Nothing like how OnePlus ruined OxygenOS.

                  You want all that you ask, pretty much what other manufacturers offers. Xiaomi, Vivo, OnePlus, Samsung, etc.

                  Nothing stands out in it’s own way and that’s what makes it special, other than Pixel. This is what you are trying to change.

                  Some of them even of file manager without ads on the play store, go download them if that’s what you want. We want no more bloatware. Just give us Android like how Google intended it. Nothing pretty much already add other features that’s missing.. like clone apps, app locks.

                  You want Nothing own apps, while Phone 2 still lacking camera optimization. Nothing releases more Nothing apps, and they’ll have to spend less time on OS and camera because they need to fix bugs on the apps you ask for, and also people be asking more features, probably will expect a high end editing features for the gallery app lol. Later don’t come and complain, “My phone is not as smooth as it was before. This is last from Nothing for me.”

                        See, A UI is popular or 2 types of things one is on bloatware and second is features

                        UI of Nothing, Moto and Pixel are famous for no bloatware

                        But, Old OxygenOS, ColorOS are famous for features

                        And HyperOS is balance in both

                        And we want nothing to be perfect or close to perfect in both things

                        And Nothing has that Calibre to do it

                        And at starting of company (2021) they have promised to do it

                        With all of us we can achieve it
