NOTHING cards | Make unboxing tech fun again
I’m a geek, nerd and a collector, and I approve this message!! NOICE!
Now that’s….that’s what good creativity means! Superb idea. Hope Nothing team implements it in any way.
Sgnoogle What an amazing concept! I’d love to create a collection of welcome cards. Great effort from both of you
Sgnoogle @AndreaCopellino Took my time to go through this project, and I have to say, it aligns perfectly with how I see the future. Cards, anime, and video games are making a strong comeback into the nostalgia cycle, and I can already see it taking shape. Nothing has always had a talent for capturing this energy, with projects like Community Dots and the Snake game widget being perfect examples of that.
The thought and effort behind this are outstanding. Kudos to you both for creating something so detailed and inspiring. A few years ago, as a community member, I started a project called Nothing Derivatives with a short NFT story about dots. The idea was to kickstart community-driven derivatives similar to this. That project may have gotten lost in the shuffle, but this one truly stands out as an inspiring contribution to the culture.
Nothing stands out as one of the few companies truly keeping nostalgia alive, from cards to arcade culture and beyond. Your idea fits seamlessly into this vision, and I am excited to see how it evolves. Huge congratulations on this incredible work, and I’m excited to see where this goes.
RohitPakalapati glad you liked it! honestly from what we can tell it goes beyond a simple nostalgic resurgence, this might very well become just *the new pop culture*, the new generations have chosen different icons. if we are right, there is the potential to intercept a trend before everyone else does.
Deepanshu_Saini_ Thanks so much!
Now that you’re officially part of Nothing India and living there, I’m curious: what’s the general vibe in India when it comes to collectibles and trading cards?
Such a cool idea, fingers crossed for this to become reality at some point.
Sgnoogle Does this all sounds like something Collab with Pokemon “pika chuuuuuuuu” lolzzzzz would luv the new comings…. Soon the next community edition the contestants are ready for the new special edition ones
Awesome idea. Community edition devices having metalic cards will make it more special.

Super cool! The idea is unique & remarkable! My very first phone is the phone am using right now: Nothing 2a. When I first unboxed it, I truly loved the design! The dot design and all! When I was setting it up, writing my Google account, customizing my home screen, everything… it was amazing! I still have the boxes treasured as well! I have pretty good memories with the phone cuz I used it 2 take millions of pics n a trip. I kinda used it 24/7 just for taking pics, yet the quality and the battery surprised me!
Anyways, sorry 4 babbling a lot… Just, tons of thanks to the nothing team and for everyone who supports nothing!
aniketrege1991 pikachu edition would boooooom
This is art. I love how you eliminated the FOMO aspect for this and instead focused on fostering communication between the brand and the user about a specific product; which in turn would lead to much more appreciation for the said product. Great stuff, hope you get the chance to turn it into reality.
flo_rahil thank you very much! yep, we know how much speculation there is in this world, we really didn’t want this project to become an asset for scalpers and other generally uninterested people that simply want to make a quick buck, it’s meant as a celebration above everything else

Just voted - This project is so sick and so much thought went into the execution and really rad to see how you made real life prototypes - if you haven’t still voted for Marketing Campaign I think there is some sick alignment to launch it in stage 3

Sgnoogle hope this to be in form of a digital way and not physically in form of real card while unboxing. At some extent there might not be the value for it. I mean if the cards collectible can be in form of digital way like the special collectible to those who buy the product they can see the card inside their phone in form of application or widget. And not the real, physical or paper cards. - just a suggestion though.

We are trying to turn Nothing Cards into reality by participating in the 2025 Nothing Community Edition contest, and we need your help.
You can vote for our project here: https://community-edition.nothing.tech/gallery/991285/240782/747711911
Sgnoogle however I would still request this to be received these cards inside phone and not as a real-time card. Just like Pokemon cards or topps games cards. Like that we can have inside the phone. Like a wallpaper kind of thing, or widget or theme (additional) or a dedicated app for the cards collection.

aniketrege1991 I appreciate the feedback! As mentioned in the opening post, though, we believe the offline value and physical feel play a particularly unique role in the trading cards ecosystem.
