bytesizedreamer well said…the software need to be very minimalistic and much more fluidic
@mladen @Rob requesting to adress the concern.
adbo pleaseeee please make a tablet
Hey dude, congrats on the new position.
My concerns are from the perspective of the Series B investors.
We were the OG Crowdcube fanboys that scraped up whatever they could to invest in an idea and a bloke we believed in. We came from all over the android universe. Some of us, like me, were ride or die OnePlus. Until the day Carl jumped ship and we all went with him.
We were promised the opportunity to join in another funding round (as would be the norm for Series B investors) but after two additional rounds the fear is we will be passed over and forgotten.
The culture of ‘Community’ is something that has defined Carl and his approach to the business. It’s what draws us to his products. Why else would so many of us invest everything we had in a dude and his ideas, and no products?
I’ve reached out on a couple previous posts to the former CBO, so now I’m back to plead with you to advocate on our behalf.
I know there are many of us that have been patiently stuffing their piggy banks in preparation for the next opportunity.
Cheers mate!

adbo I would like you to suggest the developers at Nothing to give a detailed documentation(if possible with more examples) for the Glyph Developers Kit. Right now there are a few things missing to be mentioned and definitely not beginner friendly so I request you to add this in the upcoming meeting.
Thanks in advance in behalf of all developers out there.
adbo I’m nothings phone 1 user & recently bought cmf phone for my partner.
1)Allow to replaces google app on swipe to oneplus shelf like option.
2)Focus on digital wellbeing, its been long googles wellbeing on beta. I’m not sure google wanted to do this or not.
3)Restart phone just after plugin to charger if phone turn off due to no charge.
4)Need better CMF phones.
a. Poor display, some text are badly displayed with white boards, got vertical lines & green line after 2nd time power up.
b. Please dont launch cheap phone or at least “a” equivalent. We liked the concept. Allow more gadgets like magsafe like accessories.
c.Make back case economical.
5.We need UI consistent apps like notes and more, google drive can be a storage option.
6.Hide glyph lights paths so more people can enjoy nothing devices. When it glows we can can see that other wise that look normal.
7. Introduce alternative file sharing system. quick share wont work consistently. use dedicated wifi module for sharing.
8. Screen is refreshing on charging phone.
9.New apps to folder in home screen not directly.
10.More consistent widget. Even google doesn’t have consistent widgets.
adbo Is there a way to manipulate the glyphs on Nothing phones, especially Nothing 1 and 2? For example, give it a new app or change the rhythm of the silent mode?(I am leaving this message as an Iranian user and since I bought this Koshi I have been extremely satisfied with it and I am happy that I bought this phone)
As an investor, I understand Nothing is raising $100m. Can we hear more about this raise. What are the funds for, and what are the terms of the raise.
SanthoshYellisetti 2a plus too?… I had the 2a for a week and returned it due to problems with the screen, it’s really a shame because I loved the operating system and the design of the phone… that’s why I was thinking of buying the 2a Plus, I thought it was a common fault in 2a, since I’ve found very few mentions of faults with the plus version… I still don’t know what to do since I’m looking for a phone that will last me at least 5 years.

Seems the Nothing team is doing everything besides addressing the issues the community is actually having with device’s , great way to tarnish the company ..
vovan-v Hi, I would like to know if you have experienced any problems with burnt pixels and green ink on your screen? My 2a started to have problems after a week of use, so I asked for a refund… However, I love the design of the phone and the UI so I am willing to give it a second chance (I am thinking of a 2a Plus), but I will investigate further this time!… Lastly, are you from India? I have seen that the screens with the highest tendency to fail are those manufactured in India (this is based on information and complaints from the users themselves)
Joaqu_nMancilla My Nothing phone 2 has has that , I switch from Samsung to give them a ago and immediately noticed how cheap the screen looked especially at night , some are saying it’s a how they tuned the device but no way you would do that to your own product , it’s definitely cheap hardware ..
SPICER.09 wow I didn’t know that NP (2) also had that fault… are you from India by any chance? Although I’m interested in 2a Plus, I’d also like to know more about faults in (2)
Joaqu_nMancilla yeah the screen is pretty bad when it’s dimmed down it flickers green and grey , the cameras are also very inconsistent the processing side is horrible at times looks like a water painting lol , but the performance and battery have been great and OS has been nothing but stable throughout my experience .. I’m from Australia
Joaqu_nMancilla No i doesen’t have burnt pixels and green ink all fine with my screen and i not from India, i think you should to let the second chance to it.
Joaqu_nMancilla I’d wait untill the next series of phones they’ll be alot better
SPICER.09 Do you have the 128/8 version or the 256/12 version?
