I’ve just switched to the Nothing Phone 2(A) Plus and while I’m loving the phone, I’m running into a few issues with transferring important files from my old Redmi Note 7. I could really use some help! I’m hoping someone can help me get things working the exact same way as they did on my old phone, especially for the following:
Google File Explorer: I need the Google File Explorer to work just like it did on my old phone. Right now, the folders and files aren’t appearing the same way, and it’s hard to navigate and find things as easily.
Images: I want the Images section to work exactly like it did before, with all my images automatically sorted into their proper folders. It’s not quite behaving the same way, and I’m looking for a solution to keep everything organized as before.
Notes: I need to transfer my Notes exactly like they were on my old device. I haven’t found a simple way to do this and make it feel like the original Notes app setup from my old phone.
Chrome (200 Tabs): I’m hoping to sync my Chrome tabs just like I did before. Some tabs aren’t showing up, and the sync isn’t as smooth. I’d like to get everything working the same way as it was on my old device.
Additionally, I transferred some call recordings, but the date and time on the recordings changed during the transfer, which was a bit frustrating.
Also, when transferring WhatsApp chats, I experienced a lag (about 7%) between the two phones and an error message saying “Something went wrong.” Thankfully, I was able to complete the transfer via Google Drive, but it wasn’t seamless.
If anyone has suggestions on how to make Google File Explorer, Images, Notes, and Chrome work exactly like they did on my old phone, I would really appreciate your help!
