What makes you think there is no antivirus? Google Play has a built-in antivirus that checks your phone every day, you can check it yourself.
Google Services already does this, there is no need for another bloatware to do the same thing twice
But nothing phone should also have an in built security antivirus as samsung have knox antivirus if I am not wrong

chances of you getting hacked are too less unless someone targets you, unless you install a shady app outside from playstore. unless you visit shady sites. theres no need for anti virus tbh. and do you understand what is hacking?
twitter getting hacked has nothing to do with phones anti virus. they do with brute force. and samsung knox is not an anti virus, who told you that its anti virus? its a hardware level security chip, pixel comes with that too.
