Hello to all dear Nothing comrades. I was lying down, letting my mind wander. Sometimes it’s just amazing to let your thoughts flow, especially when it comes to Nothing’s ecosystem and products and how they all fit together. I think it’s fascinating when you see a connection or pattern, especially when there’s a well-thought-out idea behind it.
I was thinking about all the products that have been launched. The Ear (1) was the very first product released, followed by the Phone (1). It’s an interesting choice that they decided to name their very first earbuds product “(1),” as if it was meant to go hand in hand with the first phone. Then the Ear (stick) was released, which seems to be a product that came between the Phone (1) and Phone (2). The Ear (2) came out before the Phone (2), and they seem to be linked. Similarly, the Ear (2a) belongs to the Phone (2a), but around that time, the standalone “Ear” was also launched, which is very interesting. You’d think that would’ve been the name of their very first product instead. So the question is, which phone does the standalone “Ear” belong to? The latest earbud release, the Ear (open), also doesn’t seem directly tied to a specific phone—it’s more “outside,” like the Ear (stick).
I’d love to hear your thoughts on these intriguing topics. I’m incredibly satisfied with the Ear (open), and the product inspires me. I always look forward to wearing them. The coolest part is that they resemble hearing aids with their white and transparent design.
